Dow Jones Falls 700 Points (Netflix Stock Jump More Than 5%)


The Dow Jones Falls another 700 points, bring this week down 1,300 points within two days. Also, the S&P 500 falling around 3.5%, while the NASDAQ is down 3.9%. 

 Traders have focused on the strange happenings with oil futures once again, which raised concern about deep losses for the energy industry hitting the U.S. economy even further. On Monday, the May contract for oil futures expiring Tuesday fell to zero and then went to an actual negative price, meaning producers would pay for someone to take the oil off their hands.

Netflix stock jump more than 5% after hours due to beating earning report: 
  • Earnings per share (EPS): $1.57
  • Revenue: $5.77 billion
  • Global paid net subscriber additions: 15.77 million
